About the Sovorel Center for Teaching & Learning

Sovorel PublishingThe Sovorel Center for Teaching & Learning exists to help all of academia develop and improve to make the best educational experience possible for both faculty and students. A majority of the content created and presentations given by the Sovorel CTL will be free for everyone to access and use. Some content will be created to help fund the center so that more content can be created to freely distribute.  The Sovorel CTL has created many different books, articles, infographic, AI prompts, and educational videos dealing with a wide range of educational topics such as instructional methodologies and instructional technologies such as generative AI (like ChatGPT).

The word “Sovorel” is an ancient Armenian word that means to learn, study, and read. This site is dedicated to the exploration of higher education (although a lot of our content can be applied to many different levels), focusing on learning, instructional methodologies, instructional technologies, and educational techniques. Most, if not all of the content presented, will also be applicable to military and business training. Our tag line of “Learning is for Life,” has two meanings in that we believe we should all be life-long learners and that the very nature of life is to continually learn and understand each other and the world around us so that we can help others.
